“It’s All Right”, written by Curtis Mayfield, was the most successful song ever recorded by the soul group, The Impressions. Once you hear the lyrics, you will easily see why people loved it.

Say it’s all right (it’s all right)
Say it’s all right (it’s all right)
It’s all right, have a good time
‘Cause it’s all right, whoa, it’s all right

We’re gonna move it slow
When the lights are low
When you move it slow, it sounds like more
And it’s all right, it’s all right

Now listen to the beat
Kinda pat your feet
You got soul, and everybody knows
That it’s all right, whoa, it’s all right

When you wake up early in the morning
Feelin’ sad like so many of us do
Hum a little soul; Make life your goal
And surely something’s got to come to you

It’s all right, have a good time
‘Cause it’s all right, whoa, it’s all right
Now everybody clap your hands
Give yourself a chance
You got soul, and everybody knows
That it’s all right, whoa, it’s all right

Someday I’ll find me a woman
Who will love and treat me real nice
Then my woe’s got to go
And my love, she will know
From morning, noon, and night
And she’s got to…

Say it’s all right (it’s all right)
Say it’s all right (it’s all right)
It’s all right, have a good time
‘Cause it’s all right, whoa, it’s all right

We all want things to be “all right” in our lives. We don’t look forward to waking up feeling worried or sad — concerned about bills we have to pay, relationship problems we have to face, health issues we have to deal with, and an array of other issues that clearly tell us that things are not all right. In an attempt to make things all right, we realize that we need a purpose — something to live for, something that will give us fulfillment in life — and we begin pursuing that. Others believe that finding the right man or right woman to love them and spend the rest of their life with will make everything all right in their lives. Some believe that money is the key to happiness and so they pursue financial gain, thinking that if they can get enough money, all their problems will be solved and everything will be all right.

However, nothing on this Earth can make us truly all right — nothing can make our lives truly joyful, peaceful, or fulfilled. Job, one of the men in the Bible who suffered an enormous amount of trouble, said, “Man born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.” Jesus Christ said, “In this world, ye shall have tribulation [trouble and difficulty]…”

So, as much as we like to tell ourselves that things are all right or that things are going to be all right, the truth is: they are not. However, a greater and more comforting truth is that they can be.

Jesus Christ came to earth to take sin and the eternal punishment of sin out of the way for those who believe on Him. When you give your life to Christ, He makes everything all right. Yes, you have sinned, but He has taken the punishment for your sins. Yes, you have broken relationships, but He can help you reconcile with the people in your life. Yes, you may feel lost, confused, and unfulfilled; He will let you know that you are loved, and He will give you clarity, purpose, and fulfillment in life. Yes, you may wonder about what happens after death; you may even be afraid of going to Hell when you die. But, if you believe on Him, Jesus provides assurance that you will go to Heaven to be with God the Father for eternity.

Jesus is the only somebody who can truly make everything all right. He can take your bad situations and work them out for your good. He can take the mistakes, failures, and setbacks of your past and make something beautiful out of your life. He has done it for millions of others and He wants to do it for you. If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, here is how you can accept Him into your heart today.

First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”

Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 10:28: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by the power of God for you so that you can live eternally with Him. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.

Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead, and you want to trust Him for your salvation today, please pray with me this simple prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. I am sorry for my sins, and today I choose to turn from my sins. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior and I choose to follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you just trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and you prayed that prayer and meant it from your heart, I declare to you that based upon the Word of God, you are now saved from Hell and you are on your way to Heaven. Welcome to the family of God! Congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
